The lights went out on the deep stations one by one. Something down in the trench learned that we were up here — and it has been climbing ever since.

Abyss Warden is a deep-sea tower defence game. You bolt gun platforms to the seabed, funnel the horde down winding trenches, and hold the line with a hero who fights beside your towers. Every wave is a fresh problem: armoured crawlers that shrug off bullets, burrowers that vanish mid-road, healers you have to kill first, and flyers that sail straight over your blockers.

Five tower lines each climb three levels before splitting into two specialists, so the same turret can end the level as a bleeding-damage harpoon or a twin-barrelled crowd-clearer. Between missions you spend the stars you earn on a station-wide upgrade tree, unlock new Wardens, and read up on everything that has tried to eat you in the creature codex.

Six bosses wait at the bottom. They are puzzles, not walls — each one does something that breaks your usual defence, and beating it means answering that specific question, not simply building more guns.
